Alternative systems have appeared in many countries and regions, sometimes with no central guru, and are composed of individuals, non-profit organizations, and local sites. They aim to democratize information and promote marketing reform. They will face many different challenges, including limited financial and technical support, nonetheless they persist in building local and local links and circumventing imperialist power design.
